Analysis of Love’s Silent War

Sometimes This life is cruel
It will take you to your knees
Have you begging please

Pain will be a fortress
That you wish to escape
But it will be much to late

Now you anticipate
This constant manipulation
Lucid contemplation.

It’s not over yet…
But I wonder if we will let
our pride determine our fate?

Mistaken happenstance-
We took further than a glance
Leaving us with no where to dance.

Now I am trying to comprehend
The finality of our end
That never had a chance to begin.

Alone I’m left once more
shards of my heart scattered along the shore
Wondering if love is worth this silent war?
