Analysis of A SONG
If only I could make you a song,
If only I can put the words that won’t make it wrong
If I could only think of something
To keep you away from drifting
If only I could dedicated a song
If only I can change its words to make it strong
I wouldn’t be standing here thinking of something
To keep you away from drifting
If only I could sing you a song
If only I could keep it up and make it long
I wouldn’t be sitting here composing something
To keep you away from drifting
If only you loved me like that song
If only I wasn’t that wrong
I wouldn’t be here thinking of you
I wouldn’t be suppressing the words “I Love You”
