Analysis of Shooting Star

I remember the times,
We  sat outside...
Looking up at the night sky.

We would talk about the many sparkling stars,
Some shooting across the night sky...
While sitting beside you watching them soar by.

Though now I sit alone looking up at the stars above,
I've seen the one...
You sent across the sparkling night sky.
