Analysis of And those brave souls went up

Kylie 1970 (Adelaide)

Twice there was impact
Flames and smoke spouted out

Calls for help
Cries for relief
Who can help us now

Down in the lobby
Those brave souls gathered
Where do you need us boss
Send us in

Up climbed the souls
As countless people came down

Make way, make way
Both had their paths

The brave, brave souls
Kept climbing
Burdened with gear
It slowed them not

Still they climbed
Higher and higher
Sending those they found
Down to safety if they could

How many souls knew
They climbed to their fate
But those brave, brave souls
Kept on anyway

Twenty years on
We still honour them
Those brave, brave souls
We lost this day
