Analysis of HUNGRY JUNGLE

The hungry jungle devours
Anyone foolish enough to come,
In through its awful stunted foliage
And are not fast enough to run.

To run away from leafy killers
Part animal and part plant,
Malignant malformed life
That nature itself would recant.

Monstrous verdant life forms
That latch upon anything living,
Strangling, mangling, devouring
Depraved plant life so unforgiving.

Into the deadly forest by night
Come the curious and innocent,
Unaware there is no returning
For their life is almost spent.

Malevolent flora sending out
Prickly, sticky, and stinging vines,
Trying to ensnare passing creatures
Upon which they intend to dine.

Multi-coloured horrors reaching out
For the guileless passing by,
Not knowing that if the vines connect
Very soon they're going to die.

The hungry jungle devours
Anyone who comes within reach,
Of its grasping, strangling vines
Whipping around with an awful screech.

Screeching like any hunting animal
The tree-like behemoth reaches out,
Lunging at all humans passing near
Killing them without a doubt.
