Analysis of I shed my last tear for you

Nate Gyulai 1975 (Ohio)

I have shed my last tear for you today
Let’s be friends is always what you say
I gave you my everything and my heart
I have fought so we may never grow apart
You have walked, gone out of my life
It’s hard but I am done with all this strife
I feel I’m second place or a just in case
You get mad when I talk to others
Only to find out you too have others
You never wanted to hurt me you say
So no more laters starting this day
If you want me, you know where I stay
Have a wonderful life, and come what may
Every one to blame for all your pain
Yet, I get the blame thinking I’m insane
I blame myself for not helping you more
I will always love you just like before
So I will cry no more for you or worry
If I am, was, or to be, anything. Sorry!
This will be my last try to make you see
You threw everything away including me
For I shed my last tear for you today
Good bye hope you have a wonderful day
