Analysis of I miss you

Tihani Waipapas 1987 (Hawaii)

It's the good morning beautiful texts,
The late night calls of I love you and sweet dreams,
The unspoken promises of tomorrow,
The I just want to hold you because I love you,
The way tears are wiped away,
All the forehead kisses,
The way she's always on the inside when walking,
How he sneaks behind her to tickle her,
How he lifts her up and embraces her,
The doors that are opened for her and
The way she feels when their eyes meet.
Those are the things she holds on to,
As if her life depended on it,
Knowing that he is no longer there with her,
He promised forever but,
His life was severed,
Now she sits alone at night,
Wishing he would come back,
Knowing that she can't follow him,
She's still here waiting on goodbye,
Knowing one day she will see him again,
Until that day she will forever be alone,
For no one man will love her the way he can.
