Analysis of RAIN
Cynthia Reid Ogletree 1963 (Georgia)
RAIN
Bolts of lightning across the sky
Thunder clapping his hands nearby!
The hypnotic music causes a trance, as windshield wipers wildly dance!
When chimes sing and join the refrain of the pitter -patter music of the rain!
Parades of umbrellas both colored and plain.....
March and salute to the rain!
Each symphonic drop heard near and far
While nature cheers on the orchestra!
Silence sweetly fills the air...
Sleepiness too if one should dare!
Can you see the children staring out the window pane?
Oh no , they're not insane
They are just lost and the beauty of the rain!
