Analysis of Never again verse 1

Never again why does these words ring so loud in my head.
Never again will I lose heart
Open my eyes and only see the darkness.
At this age I’ve lived lost so many things but never again will I lose heart. Ive prayed on minute to days to months to years.
You can have that heart that was lost.
Ive reforged my body and mind and god gave me a heart stronger than most.
Never again will I be fooled by flashy words and fake smiles or lump into one crowd.
Never again will I be a tool to be used and discarded.
Never again will I stay when I should go.
Love is a gift which god showers me everyday so I give it to you all in different ways for some with a phrase never again.
