Analysis of Sundowners
As day is drawing to a close
in flocks of families they come
to a special tree they chose
to face the setting sun.
While soft breezes gently blow
thru' spindle branches on high
it gently rocks them to and fro'
as they face an evening sky.
I gaze in wonderment and stare
when the shadows of evening begin
this daily ritual likens to a prayer
a somehow ....sweet Amen.
