Analysis of My efforts echo

my efforts echo

they dont echo back

they exist, but no one is there to return them

they arent empty, but they bellow

my heart is full

but no one is there to see it

my heart is mended

but no one is there to hold it

change is made

but there is no change

i wont look in the rearview mirror

i wont look to the side of the road

i will look at the sunrise

and the road ahead

About this poem

I used to write poetry as a hobby when I was younger, and recently decided to try again now. This is the first attempt. The poem comes from feeling an intense emotion and needing to release it
