Analysis of Hiding from Suicide
I’ve been waiting years for death.
Taking risks where others were
Taken or miss[ed] taken.
Hiding in the shadows
Where I thought you’d
Find me
Un-blind me.
Rewind me
And see if there was a time
When I thought living had become
So hard that I’d just give up
Sink to depths
That were unfathomable
Crawled into dark places
Mind spaces.
Allowed the pain to intensify
As the light slowly faded
Into the distance.
The darkness enveloping
Closing in around me.
That’s where death found me.
