Analysis of ENGLAND’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS

Glorious Arab freedom fighters
Have bombed old London Town;
The Tower of Babel has fallen
Or ‘least is coming down.

London’s Railway stations
Have known a major blast;
The day of reckoning is nigh
To London Town at last.

The heroes of democracy
From far Iraqi fields;
Have bent till nearly breaking
But will never ever yield.

England must be judged now
For evil deeds it’s done;
America has had its day
Australia’s time will come.

London once was judged
To be a very special town;
But after years of terrorism
Its name came tumbling down.

No longer know for freedoms
Free rights; freedom of speech;
London’s killed democracy;
It now fights for war, not peace.

About this poem

I remember back in 2005, there was a bombing attack in London. My teacher (at T.A.F.E.) at the time said, "How could they do it! They were born in England." I have less difficulty believing that in time the Arab world/islam would have to fight back. The United Kingdom and the United States have been terrorising the Arab world, playing Monopoly with the real world, since the end of World War II. Despite the pacifistic nature of most Muslims, eventually, the Moslem world had to fight back. Hence 9-11, hence the 2005 bombings.
