Analysis of AWAITED ARRIVAL
AWAITED ARRIVAL
K R Balakrishnan
Opening a sky-door
Comes from an alien land
My golden dream , in a flight !
Colourful feathers
On my throbbing chest,shower.
Upon the tips of unseen hills
The morning sun rolled down coral beads
And smiled with expectant wish ;
Hopes stood blossomed and fragrant.
A moment of coloured delight
Ah ! Heaven has just arrived at my doorstep
Clouds bowed and handed a bouquet ;
A smell of camphor everywhere.
Sweet pleasure on the arrival of my sweetheart-
From abroad there was a call;
He has arrived at my doorstep now ,
And alas! In a coffin ?
