Analysis of Lost And Found
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
It may be thought sarcastic and cynical,
To hear it heard these days to say...
Mind losers have lost yet found a way,
To demonstrate their craze.
In unique although accepted ways.
With approval given to display okayed.
As if to pledge in a togetherness,
A fraternal commitment no longer secret.
They have been given permission.
On a mission to eliminate truth,
From its existence.
High they are on racism to promote,
Division to provoke it.
And civil war on these shores to invoke.
With a taste of apartheid.
To introduce white supremacy.
That reduces to end 'their' dependency,
On an ethnic diversity.
Shown to prove,
Their sickened mentalities out to lunch.
With a welcoming their own,
Apocalyptic genocide.
Prophesied to condone it.
'It could be their way,
To speed up the event.
Yet...
In the Bible it does not mention,
If self inflicted genocide...
Is an honorable choice to choose,
Done to prove to God...
A demand to be noticed,
As the 'CHOSEN ONES!'
'Over and over again and again,
These folks dislike decisions God makes.
To ruin a progressive civilization to end it.
Just for an attention to get.
Anthropologists attempt to make it sense!'
'You think its because of skin color?'
'What color are human bones found,
Holding onto worthless to rusted...
Possessions?
Lost to have found having no value.'
'Maybe then they did not know that!'
'You're kidding?
What about that,
These days have changed?
It seems...
Always there will be those,
Not satisfied to be among the ones...
Picked to be in God's creative garden.
They want that spotlight to shine,
Exclusively on themselves.
And not the others of God's creations!'
'Well...
What will it take,
For this lesson to be learned...
Eventually?'
'One thing I know to be true.'
'Oh?
And what is that?'
'You won't find me worrying about,
What God does to do next!
I do the best I can,
To express my appreciation.
Not to know how long,
This blessing I've been given to visit gets.'
'OH?
So...
Your wish is to have wings?'
'Not necessarily.
I prefer not to have anything on my back.
To strap on that flaps to remind me,
Of the burdens I had to carry.
With a doing all I could,
To rid myself of a load to let it go!
However...
My preference would be,
A halo and golden slippers.
Enabling me to walk around 'Heaven',
As comfortably...
As those billowy white clouds permit.'
'You know that is symbolism!'
'Symbolize yourself,
Walking away from me!
As quick as that is possible.
