Analysis of Never looked inside Myself…

In my unsuccessful days, I looked around,
but never looked inside myself.

Pearls were hidden inside me, I saw every big and small ocean,
but I never saw the sea that was inside me.

There was a ray of hope hidden inside me,
but each time I looked up at the sky for hope.

I saw people who explained to me,
but never saw the heart that really wanted to explain to me.

I never looked at heights for fear
that I might fall again.

I never walked that road again for fear
that I might be misled again.

I saw the wealth and fame of the people
but did not see their soul.

I have seen everything in my unsuccessful days,
but it is too late to see inside myself.
