Analysis of Gather Mine
Kevin Anderson 1965 (Ill)
Don't play with my emotions
Don't rock the boat in the middle of the ocean
Don't check my pockets for your next success
Don't play with my paper don't create a grave mess
If you can't figure it, outside of my pockets
What you need to do is kick rocks, yes, drop it
Money maybe at the root of all evil
You dig up my roots you'll also see dead people
Every one must pay their dues
Keeping what's mine know you'll lose
Playing games with my emotions is like playing with pocket change
From zero to super hero I get real strange
Don't play with my emotions
Pay your dues, if not on time then in time
Gather up mine
