Analysis of Enjoy Life
Kristina Brooks 2002 (New Jersey)
Feel the warm puffy sand around you, and smell the salty air of the crystal blue seas.
Take time to relax and to breathe. For there is no one who shall hurt or cause fear to you or to a loved one. Hear the waves slowly crashing up shore and smile. Enjoy the gifts of mother nature before it is too late.
Put down your phones and come together.
Come together with nature and find yourself; for you only live for a little while than you crash like the waves.
Cherish your loved ones as well as yourself.
Forgive the ones who might have wronged you, however keep in mind of the wrong they caused.
Forgiveness is one of the best gifts you can give to someone.
Don’t let hate overshadow your spirit and soul, let love drive it out.
Let the hate be shells; only sediments of your body, and let the love be the salt that moves with the body.
Stay true.
True to yourself and your surroundings.
Don’t lie to get attention or to feel special; for then you will only be filled with dread and anger. It will all hit at random times.
Talk to a loved one and express your emotions and concerns.
For the waves need other elements for it to be something great and big

About this poem
A poem I wrote in school. The whole coronavirus pandemic inspired me to write this poem. I wrote this to show my readers that life can be very short, so it's better to enjoy every minute of it.
