Analysis of On the release of the freedom fighters

No cause is worth the price in blood
of them who did no harm,
and guilt cannot escape a man
who cost a child his arm

nor they who gave the death command
to kill to give insight
are free of heinous crimes in deed
by virtue they were right;

if men who love not
life itself should live to roam the earth,
then love itself can give no life
to men of hated birth!
