Analysis of Better

Zoey Conner 2003 (Kansas)

You think your better than me
You say were the same
but your actions say differently
and I just stand there like i'm lame
While you tell me your whole miserable biography
but I just wonder why you complain
You've got everything you want and more
and i'm just barely getting by
You must think that i'm poor
but at least i'm not the one thats high
What must I do to get you out the door?
Why do you always have to lie?
I listen to you anyways
I really want to believe you
You never say the same phrase
What more do I need to do?
You keep falling back into your old ways
I'm the one who's really better than you
