Analysis of For Teddy Bear and All Cats Forever

Elizabeth Hensley 1957 (St Louis)

For Teddy Bear and All Cats Forever

In Heaven not one Sparrow falls apart
From Papa's loving mind and gracious heart.
And what do Kitty Angels love to do?
But chase those Sparrows!
Yes they do!

The thing about this wonderful place
Is that Birdies don't mind being chased.
Miceys neither. Nor do Frogs
And Cats don't mind being chased by Dogs.

Googolplex's of new boxes.
Not a one has any tops.
Strewn farther than an eye can see
For their box-joy jamboree.

Warm bowls of milk for them to sip.
Fields of clover and catnip,
Lazy boys for them to sit
And no thunder, not a bit!

No matter where they've had to roam,
There all Ferals have a home.

And when they get tired of romping
Thru fields and Trees
Chasing immortal Mice and Bees
The best part of Heaven is that
 Jesus has an infinite lap!
