DRIFT WOOD
On the ocean see.
Wood drifting to be.
Where it came from.
Somewhere under the sun.
Will it reach shore?
What was in store?
Fallen from a tree.
Cut down by a saw.
Left behind by one so kind.

Mine is called “To Melancholy”
To marry a Maid whose name is Melancholy
Is to see Beauty veiled in the dryness of the mind
