He is the elder son of his parent. His spouse name: Alvina Samad and child name: Rodosi ferdous. Ferdous Mahmud prominent figure of the new Bengali poetic language movement, he established himself as the leading poet in his generation. Ferdous Mahmud started writing poem from his college life. His first poetry book published 2006.He is now worked as journalist in editorial page, a national Daily newspaper. He published 9 Bengali books.
