My name is Zhuravleva Anna and I’m thrilled to be submitting my poetry for your magazine. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to become a published writer, which is why I’m so excited to apply for this open position. My path as a poet began 2 years ago. During this time, my poetry became widely known in the school where I study. I received positive reviews from literature experts and my teachers. This year I entered the general education center "Sirius", which is located in Sochi, for a literature program. The commission of this center highly appreciated my work in Russian language, but I don`t limit myself to the barriers of my native language and also write in English. I have a strong vocabulary, I passed 2 Cambridge exams, confirming my high level of English. I read a lot to improve my level of language, I believe that The more one reads, the more learned he / she becomes on all of the different writing tools and stylistic angles that exist. This is how I develop my poetry writing skills. I believe that my poetry reflects a modern generation, strong on the outside, but vulnerable inside. Referring to my achievements in English poetry, I would like to note that in 2019 I was published by the British teen magazine "TeenInk Poetry".
