Ipek Hinshaw is an Turkish American poet, who has started writing poets at the age of twelve. She is a licensed therapeutic riding instructor, and posses a lifelong passion and love for horses and nature. She has traveled over twenty five counties and studied journalism, dance, design and languages. Her passion for life, curiosity in different cultures, and understanding their origins create a huge hunger in her for justice, humanity and love for all the people of the world. In her poems she captures love, beauty of creation, and longing for world peace. She has won several prizes in her school's writing contest and continues to progress and hopes to pass down this beautiful way of expressing one's self to her two teenage daughters.
