Andreas Peter Vilhelm Gregersen (born 17 March 1848 in Flensburg , died 16 January 1929 in Gjerrild ), was a Danish priest and hymn writer . Vilhelm Gregersen was parish priest in Hornslet 1887-1918. Of his hymns and songs are especially known the Advent song There is something in the air , written in Hornslet vicarage, which was where there is now a parking space. The song was published as a sheet music in 1900, but was published in a broader context in Gregersen's collection of poems Vintergæk in 1911.
