Lisa Jean Gorgone is a United States Air Force Veteran who was born in Newton, Massachusetts. Lisa Jean worked as a hairstylist for many years. In 2009 she became an EMT and went on to fulfill a lifelong dream and join the military as a medic in 2011. After serving and experiencing personal trauma and loss she decided to take a leap of faith and discover her true calling. She has always had a strong passion for writing and poetry. She has been writing ever since she was a little girl. She was inspired to start writing again after she was introduced to shamanic breath work, self healing and the power to heal the body with the mind. Lisa Jean is a true definition of resilience in the face of adversity. She is a first time author and has already inspired many people with her work!
