My name is Tawnya. I'm 49 and have suffered Bipolar and BPD along with anxiety most of my life. Most of my poetry will reflect that. I've been writing off and on since the sixth grade and often times I find it very therapeutic! I started with Poetry.com at 15 through the newspaper and then they built a website. Alas they revamped and I lost everything. A few pieces were chosen to be published in their huge book back in the early 2000's. Who knows if that came to fruition. I never bought the book. I'dike to think I'm published though. That's it. That's me.
