I am a writer and producer with a postgraduate certificate in Creative Writing from Newcastle University. I also have a Law degree from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. I was born and raised in Kaduna State, Nigeria, which was occasionally plagued with religious segregation and insecurity. I am fluent in Hausa and English and have spent my early career producing for television and radio with many broadcast networks including; BBC Media Action, Silverbird television, Golden Effects pictures and more. I enjoy working with themes that speak directly to social justice, love and coming of age. I am passionate about art, words, design and film and have an incredible love for people and animals.
