Born in Bemidji, Minnesota, my mom, dad and I relocated to Arizona when I was three. An only child, I grew up in a rural, farming community. After some years away at college, I returned home, married a local farmer and we raised five children. I now have eight grandchildren. I worked for 20 years as a high school library clerk. During that time I learned that I love to write poetry. I put it aside for several years, but I have now renewed my interest and have begun to write again.
