I am an elementary school teacher in New York City. I hail from Saranac Lake, NY in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. I studied at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and Buffalo State University. I started writing poetry in the summer of 2021 when I worked in a conservation corps. The SCA. With them I backpacked, conducted environmental surveys, and built trails in the Alaskan wilderness. I am an avid hiker, rugby player, and book reader. My favorite author being J.R.R. Tolkien.
