My name is Willie Dean, Jr, my first poems were written in my early twenties, and had my first published poem in 1985 in Dawn Magazine titled "Dedicated Soldato". I have an earned BS degree in Political Science and MS degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Detroit Mercy. I've been married for 16 years to my wife JoAnn, I have a son Ashton and two grandchildren. I reside in Atlanta, Ga.
