I grew up in the City of Detroit in the early sixties, I wrote my first collection of poems at age 25, and my first poem was published in 1985, in Dawn Magazine. I have earned BA degree in Political Science and a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Detroit Mercy. I'm married to my wife JoAnn for 16 years. I have a Son from a previous marriage named Ashton and two grandchildren. I reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
