Neon lights, glowing bright
Halogen mopped street
Weekend crowd, out in night
Seeks weekly retreat
Pub is full, music on
People on the floor
Death of thoughts, still unborn
Been here months before
Found a guy, in the corner
Sipping alone his gin,
TV screen, David Warner
Commercials in between.
Girl in black, already high
Forgetting pains inside
I’m here for an alibi
From LIFE waiting outside
I guess everyone out here
Had there shares of pain -
Some broken; unable to bear
Unmoved some remain
Music on, psychedelic light
Group of friends for treat
Weekend crowd, out in night
Seeking weekly retreat
