Freedom
When freedom came knocking on our doors
Finding a fragment of hope, a ceiling for our floors
A divinely appointed time set in 1994
This sleeping Giant, was finally able to soar
Pain that this nation purposefully bore
Goes down in History as a landmark, like remains of a war
Raiment crowned with jewels, but oils over our wounds we must pour
Hearts & minds remain like the sunlight, so true and so pure
My voice, our voice, now stronger than before
Broke through like a sea unleashed, like sunshine in the dawn
Then suddenly she appeared, radiant, my hearts desire, standing at the door
Her name is none other than Freedom, my life, my everything, my all in all.
