A hymn for Him

Where angels come but few dare go
Jesu' bore the mighty blow
But grace did clothe the blessed child
Given to love, teach, meek and mild

Crown of tempest and the wild
Temptation could not Jesu' beguile
Yet wound and pierce and a straw bed
Could not defeat the king who bled

Tho' spite of thorns and cross of pain
Jesu' rose to life again
Replaced with the crown of gold
Where in heaven e'er naught grows old

Why God would his only son
Send to earth 'neath waning sun
When in heaven His light is one
Where its brightest day's ne'er done

Love for us his reason why
Jesu' chose that he should die
What sacrifice for you and me
Redeemed so unconditionally

Joseph Ippolito

I am a musician piano mainly. I love composition. I love art and have travelled widely. Japan is my true heart home. I love running, writing and I am an outdoors person with a deep love of nature and the wonders of the universe. I love the sound of waves crashing on the shore and have a profound affinity for Sandwood Bay near Cape Wrath in Scotland. I have one dog a collie. I had two but Gloria sadly passed away after an illness of long duration. She, Daisy's mum, still breaks my heart after two years. more…
