My Valentine

As the days turn to years, through times happy, and sad...
You have stayed by my side, through the good, and the bad.
My love for you grows, with each passing day...
And you'll be in my arms for eternity, I pray.
Each day when I wake I thank God you are here…
And so I say... Happy Valentines, my dear.

-It was a lean year, and I had no money to buy my wife a Valentine's day present. I wracked my brains trying to think of some way to show LeAnn how much I cared, and finally decided to write a poem. It's a bit corny, but it conveyed what was in my heart.
