Within these Walls

Within these walls of twilight dim
The sun will cease to shine
Above the irredescent clouds
I make Thy glory mine.
Within these walls of abusive speech
One is never 'Good Enough.'
All humanity is like a leech
And life is often tough.
Within these walls of twilight dim
My youth doth me escape
I seek for joy but all seems grim
Who can my life remake?
I call to Thee as LORD above
Come cease this wretched squalor.
Let go the past, forsook in love
While fleeting, I did holler.
Life goes on!
