As i listen to the call of the whispering wind..
It becons my gypsy soul again..
To once again hit the road..
To see what life can bring.
Cause these days..
Im about tired of everyone...
And everything..
Wishing I was sitting in a nashville bar..
watching some young musicians.
Trying to be a star..
Would make me think..
Why can't that be me?
Is this all my life has to offer..
Is this my destiny..
I want to pack my bags.
Get on a bus..
Leave behind the bittersweet memories ..
That are all thats left of us..
Yes..
That Whispering wind..
Is calling me again.
Tellin me to leave behind.
My family..
My friends..
Oh whispering wind.
Please leave me alone..
Don't you know...
I've moved back home..
Whispering wind..
Please let me be..
You know how it becons me to want to be free...
To see if there is more to my life..
Then what it has come to be...
