I don't know if I'll get to sleep tonight
Knowing the spot next to me is empty,

Thoughts of you keep me awake tonight
I never knew I could feel this lonely,
Then I hear a voice whisper my name
I feel someone's hand touching me.

I keep hearing these words clearly,
I close my eyes as they remind me
Of the memories I hold so dearly.

One by one they flood my mind
Pictures in my head of you and I,
At every precious moment of life
I smile as each one of them goes by.

A feeling of comfort is setting over
I feel arms being wrapped around me,
I now know they belong to you
