Though I may fade into oblivion, you will not
I refuse the idea, refute its possibility.
To have loved is to love, and to love is to believe.
And whether this belief be grounded in logic,
be provided with evidence, be it as it may
it is a belief guarded from perturbation,
and untouched by doubt,
Free from the workings of the mind.
For my world begins with me, ends with me,
as your world, begins and ends with you.
And in my world you are everlasting.
Upon death, you may remain in a place I cannot see,
in one I may not logically believe.
But I love you, believe in you,
and that is all that is needed for immortality.
And as long as this world remains,
as long as my world remains,
A world that begins and ends with me,
you begin and end with me.
