The Princess Who Ate Candy
A Princess is in her garden,
hiding in the flowers,
the slave girl must find her,
For the King demands,
she be brought to him at once.
The Princess,
knew she was going to be in trouble,
for her dirty dress,
and tangled hair,
The Ice Cream melted as she ate,
As much as she can eat,
The rest remained stuck to her dress,
in the raw sweaty heat.
The lolipops she did eat,
so sugary and sweet,
left her with a purple tongue,
and orange colored teeth.
The slave girl was becoming annoyed,
she had better things to do,
and she callled to the Princess,
Stop your hiding foolishness!
At that moment the Royal Prince approached who are you screaming for?
The slave wished to answer,
I love you forever more,
the slave girl felt,
weak at the kness,
He was so handsome,
she could hardly breathe.
She ran away,
afraid of not knowing,
what to say.
The princess knew she must face the king. He told her she can have no sweets. She had a feast of candy and assorted treats.
She gave up hiding went in the castle,
to confess, covered in flowerpetals
sticking to her sugar-covered dress.
Her face smudged with chocolate,
her hair tangled up in leaves from hiding in the garden trees.
The King smiled.
He was not even mad, he simply laughed,
and said "see to it she gets a bath".
