The Gardener and the Plant

Thou art the Gardener
Thy is the Plant
Every day, the Gardener toils
Yet it is the Plant who received
the spoils
The Gardener protected the Plant
from weed and vermin
As the Plant kept on growin'
One day, the Plant saw that it's
gratification was not shown
It's appreciation for the Gardener,
not known
So, to show that it was happy for
the Gardener
It grew for her a beautiful Flower
