Slice-Of-Life

Drama is a slice-of-life: a whimsical stage play.
Actors are unnatural, formed of "papier-mache."

Sadness is a slice-of-life: a melancholy pause.
Actors are dispirited, tamped by "one-hand applause."

Pleasure is a slice-of-life: a transporting delight.
Actors are elevated and "higher than a kite."

Failure is a slice-of-life: a noteworthy downfall.
Actors are devastated, hit by "the wrecking ball."

Conquest is a slice-of-life: a triumphal success.
Actors are victorious in tasseled "window dress."

Dying is a slice-of-life: a moribund demise.
Actors are shriveled mummies, decreed a "booby prize."

Fitness is a slice-of-life: a freedom from disease.
Actors are animated on the "flying trapeze."

No matter how you slice it you'll always find six sides.
Left base, right front, back and top is how it all divides.
