Sandy Hook Angels

Dedicated to the Families of the Angels who went to live with Jesus on
December 14, 2012
Sandy Hook Angels
We rose from our beds as we do everyday,
Brushed our teeth, got dressed to go our way.
Had breakfast with Mom and Dad, and talked for awhile,
Went off to school with a kiss and a smile.

A day not much different from any other day,
We learn, we laugh, share friendship and play.
Not much on our minds since we are so young,
Thinking of friends, games, songs we have sung.

Too young to think about what is our future,
Our Parents do that as they love and nurture.
We think only of fun since we are a child,
Of laughter, love, and ways we can smile.

We do not realize what happened this day,
We awoke in our beds and are now far away.
But we do not feel any sorrow or fear,
Jesus carries us all and holds us near.

Mommy and Daddy we see your from here,
Please do not cry, we will wipe your tears.
Jesus said you too will be here one day,
And until then He will guide our way.

We won't forget each other while we are apart,
Cause we hold each other deep within our hearts.
I love you now as I loved you then,
We will be together one day again.

So go on each day and always know,
I am with you always were ever you go.
Jesus is watching over us until the day,
We will be together with Him and laugh and play.
