Ray Of Light

I gave you the keys to my heart,

In time will you return and give me yours

Cradling me after a long tiring day

I was lost in the world ,

Crumbling to the ground

You scooped me up gradually

I needed someone to vent my feelings

You lent me your ear all night long

The day I met you I felt a connection

You are a ray of light across the heavens
