Mirage

Running down this tunnel but I do not see a light
Putting up my dukes in gloves but there is no one here to fight
Looking in the broken mirror but there isn't a reflection
In my bed I lie starving hungry for affection
Opened up my eyelids but did not see a thing
closed them up only to see the beauty of my dream
The pressure felt against my lips experiencing sheer bliss
who knew that I would find contentment in what was just your kiss
I am drowning in the ocean, the blue that is your eyes
I must be invisible, you see right through me
Saying I hate you is a lie
Do not break my heart then look my way
Disappearing when I cry.
