Let loose
LET LOOSE
The silence broke
though none had spoke
the atmosphere
had spread to fear
for whispers grew
that no one knew
a fat man laughed
as if his last
a white horse shied
collapsed and died
black rats scurried
sick and worried
how can this be
they asked of me
but I don't know
I told them so
then someone said
we'll all be dead
the radio
screamed time to go
the banners flew
and rumours brewed
the thunder clapped
and lightning snapped
the rain poured down
to soak the ground
prepare for Hell
somebody yelled
the people cried
don't let us die
oh help us please
they begged of me
and I felt guilt
up to the hilt
I felt so low
why don't I know
I could not cope
and lost all hope
I'm on my knees
oh help me please
....the radio
....screamed time to go
