Kiss Or A Flutter

Bobby Ferguson

A butterfly flew so close to me,
so soft are those wings,
a touch so like your kiss,
and many other things.

Fluttering is my heartbeat,
every time you pass,
wings that touch me like a kiss,
from my bonnie lass.

Bonnie is the butterfly,
beautiful when in flight,
as I see those pretty wings,
I wonder at the sight.
