I'm Just a Pilgrim Passing Through

I'm just a pilgrim passing through, on my way to
Heaven, and I would like you (my special friends)
to come along with me too.
When I arrive there (I will see) Jesus Christ
welcoming me (into my heavenly home.) The Holy
Angels will all be there (just you wait and see.)
To escort a weary pilgrim home never more (on this
tried ole' earth) will I roam.
My friends and family (will be very glad to see
me.) The Bible saints (of long ago) who through
God's precious word I know, I will see face-to
face. For I will have no more earthly disgrace.
For I am just a pilgrim passing through, on my way
to Heaven and I would like you (my special friends)
to come along with me too.
